The winners of the Nigerian Women Football League monthly awards for December 2021 have now received their awards in person.

Confluence Queens forward Mercy Omokwo who claimed the Player of the month award for December 2021 after a brilliant campaign has gotten her hands on the award plaque.

Similarly, Naija Ratels manager Bankole Olowookere has also recieved his December Coach of the Month award plaque for guiding newly promoted Naija Ratels.

Mercy Omokwo scored four goals during the period under review including a hat-trick against Pelican Stars which led to her winning the award ahead of Naija Ratels' Olaide Adugbe and Abigail Sunday of Nassarawa Amazons.

Mr. Bankole Olowookere having guided newcomers Naija Ratels to a unbeaten start to the league scoring a league-high nine goals in December defeated Laidi Bashiru of Confluence Queens and Christopher Danjuma of Nassarawa Amazons.
