City of Greenville joins Columbia, Charleston in Airbnb suit

The Greenville City Council passed a resolution that permits City Manager John McDonough and City Attorney Mike Pitts to join the cities of Columbia and Charleston in a lawsuit against AirBnB and other short-term rental companies.

Columbia International University to hold business academy

The four-day academy for high school students will be held from July 12-15 and be led by CIU faculty. The curriculum will include leadership training and networking and feature a capstone business project.

Lexington County joins art and agriculture tour

The 11-county tour begins May 29 and runs until June 27. The tour was started by the Clemson Cooperative Extension Service in 2012 to provide opportunities to learn about local agriculture and artisans.
