Happy Friday, dear readers! As usual, we found deals on a wide range of gadgets this week, but for some inexplicable reason, some of the absolute best were on wireless earbuds. Maybe retailers think students want a new pair of earbuds now that back-to-school season is here, or perhaps they're just clearing out excess inventory ahead of what is shaping up to be a busy event season. Either way, there are plenty on offer, and we've rounded up the best of them for this week's newsletter (including the Beats Studio Buds Plus and latest AirPods). So, without any further ado, let's dig in. |

First up are the third-gen AirPods, which remain one of our favorite pairs of wireless earbuds when it comes to voice calls. Right now, they're on sale at Amazon with a Lightning-only charging case for $139.99 ($30 off), bringing them in line with their all-time low. Thanks to their updated design and a handful of other upgrades, the third-gen AirPods are Apple's best entry-level pair to date. They feature automatic device switching, allowing you to quickly swap between Apple devices, as well as perks like IPX4 water resistance. They may not feature active noise cancellation like the AirPods Pro, but they offer notably improved sound quality over their second-gen predecessor. That's in addition to support for new features like head-tracking spatial audio and deeper Find My integration. Read our review. |

Alternatively, if you're an Android user looking for a pair of earbuds that excel when it comes to voice calls, the Sony LinkBuds are on sale for around $128 ($52 off) at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. Unlike traditional earbuds, they opt for an open-ear design, which allows you to easily keep in touch with your surroundings even when you're out and about. Sony's wireless earbuds boast a few Android-specific tricks, too, including Fast Pair, and terrific mics for taking hands-free calls on the go. They also sport IPX4 water resistance, so they are able to withstand sweaty jogs and even a bit of rain, along with multipoint functionality thanks to a software update that arrived in the fall. Despite having launched a mere three months ago, the Beats Studio Buds Plus are already on sale in black for just $129.95 ($40 off) at Woot, which is an additional $20 off the sale price we saw during Prime Day. As you might expect, the Beats Studio Buds Plus are a much-needed revamp of the original Beats Studio Buds from 2021. They offer better sound, improved noise cancellation, and superior battery life, affording you up to six hours of listening per charge (or nine with ANC turned off). They're a great option if you own both Apple and Android devices, too, thanks to a proprietary chip that lets you tap into native software features on both platforms. This allows for one-tap pairing regardless of your OS, along with the ability to use both Apple's Find My and Google's Find My Device features. Read our review. |

If you're looking for a budget-friendly pair of workout earbuds, Anker's Soundcore Sport X10 are available for just $55.99 ($24 off) in all three colors at Amazon and Walmart. They're also available from Anker for the same price when you enter promo code WS7DONUJGP at checkout. As the name implies, the Soundcore Sport X10 are aimed at the sportier aspects of your life, from running and biking to working out at the gym. They last up to eight hours on a single charge and feature flexible wraparound hooks, which help ensure they remain comfy (and in place) during even the most rigorous workout sessions. They also feature bass-forward sound, IPX7 water resistance, and a useful transparency mode — the latter of which is a welcome feature for anyone who finds that ANC cancels out, well, too much noise. |

Last but not least are Jabra's Elite 85t, which are available in black on Amazon for $136 ($94 off) or for $6 less from Jabra with promo code Save85t. The 85t might be an older pair of earbuds, but they remain a good choice overall, especially since they offer better noise cancellation than the newer Elite 7 Pro. They also support wireless charging, come with the ability to connect to two devices at the same time, and carry an IPX4 rating for water and sweat resistance. Read our review. |

Jabra's Elite 85t have noise cancellation and a semi-open design, letting them breathe a bit more than the company's other models. One of their most impressive features, however, is their ability to handle multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously. |
