It's will be at least 20 degrees colder across most of Minnesota on Thursday. Temperatures will hold steady in the 50s in southern Minnesota with 40s up north. Get the latest on Updraft.

One man decided to do something to get public health information to more communities of color who are disproportionately affected by the virus.
 
"Drag Story Hour" brings joy - and protests - to St. Paul public libraries

Drag Story Hour provides child based programming exploring topics such as friendship, self-empowerment and gender expression through performance and books.  
 
What else we're watching:
Art Hounds: St. Paul gallery presents art from three Native artist. The American Craft Made marketplace opens at St. Paul's RiverCentre, as the new version of the American Craft Council show, on hiatus since 2019. The Art Hounds also suggest you check out a celebration of Indigenous art at Metro State University's Gordon Parks Gallery and two exhibits at Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis. 

Pandemic-delayed 'Edward Tulane' opera premieres, feeling stronger.
Kate DiCamillo's "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane" has grown into its title — at least when it comes to the story of the novel's pandemic-delayed operatic adaptation. It finally opens at the Minnesota Opera this weekend, and its creators believe it's now a better show for a recovering world.

Governor candidates out and about, but still hard to find. DFL Gov. Tim Walz and Republican nominee Scott Jensen are out and about. But where the top candidates are showing up, who they're talking to and what they're saying? That's becoming harder to track — in many cases for strategic reasons.
