Paris Saint Germain forward, Kylian Mbappé is set to renew his contract with the French capital team, PSG, according to Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio.
PSG made a last-minute attempt to tie down the 23-year-old to a record-breaking new contract, which will make him the highest paid player in football.
It looks like the staggering £4m a month, which would double his previous salary, has changed the mind of the 2021/2022 Ligue 1 highest goal scorer.
The extension would include a huge signing-on bonus of up to £100m, and includes concessions over image rights as well as bonuses for goals, Ballon d'Or honours, and Champions League success, according to Sky Sports.
According to various reports, Paris Saint-Germain reportedly offered Kylian Mbappe control of sporting operations at the club in a desperate attempt to keep him in France as well.
