Democrats Push Radical Abortion Bill Far More Expansive Than Roe

May 11 2022

Good morning from Washington, where Democrats seize on a leaked Supreme Court opinion to try to ram through a national abortion law. That would be a worse result than Roe v. Wade, Heritage Foundation scholar Thomas Jipping argues. And the abortion bill shies away from the words "woman" and "women," Virginia Allen reports. Plus: Louisiana's attorney general sees Biden's disinformation board as helpful in Big Tech case; an oral surgeon's COVID-19 win; and the president unleashes thought police. On this date in 1934, a massive storm sends millions of tons of topsoil flying from the drought-ridden Great Plains as far east as New York, Boston, and Atlanta.
