Super Eagles new boy Saud Umar, was in a sensational mood yesterday in Almeria's 3-1 win in the La Liga Smartbank.

He cored one goal and assisted another to lead Almeria to a 3-1 victory over Fuenlabrada, moving them to the top of the Segunda league in their pursuit of promotion to La Liga.

From start to finish, the Super Eagles man was a force to be reckoned with, demonstrating why he is still the club's man to beat

He shrugged off his marker before picking out Arnau Puigmal with a delicate chip-cross from a tight angle who at the end shot past the goalkeeper to open the scoring.

Three minutes later, Fuenlabrada equalized as the game approached the half-time break.

Puigmal returned the favor in the second half, this time assisting Sadiq to restore Almeria's advantage on 65 minutes.

Diego Sousa scored the game's third goal off another Puigmal pass with 13 minutes remaining to seal a 3-1 victory.

Sadiq had the most dribbles completed (2), the most chances created (4), and the most key passes (3) in the game.

His goal and assist, on the other hand, bring his season total for Almeria to 13 goals and 7 assists in 24 games.

The Super Eagles' 25-year-old AFCON2021 hero has now scored five (5) goals in his last four (4) appearances for the club.

Sadiq and Almeria's next league match comes on Friday against Real Zaragoza.
