French President Emmanuel Macron is in the southern part of France, Marseille for a 3-day visit, to unveil a big investment plan and to also lay out plans to tackle the drug crime and gang violence that have become endemic in the city.
The President has also extended his invitation to the President and the captain of the city's club side, Pablo Longoria and Dimitri Payet.
As a Marseille fan, the President has never hidden his deep love for Olympique Marseille football club over the country's capital side Paris Saint Germain.
In 2017, the President had a kickabout session with the team while he was on holiday in Marseille with his wife Brigitte.
