She is replacing Josh Watts, who will continue as a company officer and board member. Nonprofit professionals launch hands-on consultancy Calloway Stern Group, based in Charleston, aims to help small- to medium-sized nonprofits accomplish tasks to increase capacity in a fiscally responsible manner. The company is co-founded by Katy Calloway and Daniel Stern. Lightsey confirmed as S.C. Department of Commerce secretary Harry Lightsey has been confirmed as the new secretary of the S.C. Department of Commerce after Tuesday's unanimous vote of the state Senate. Helping Out for June 30, 2021 Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach and Sea Island Habitat for Humanity have partnered to complete critical home repair projects across the Sea Islands and beyond. For the first year, the organizations are hoping to repair between six to 15 homes with an estimated value of more than $30,000. Commerce to host training on Business License Tax Portal S.C. Chamber of Commerce is hosting a training session for businesses regarding the new Business License Tax Standardization act that will be implemented on Jan. 1, 2022. The training will be held at 9 a.m. July 21 by the Municipal Association of S.C. Training will be on the new Business License Tax Portal and an overview of the act.
