Vice President Kamala Harris is on a trip to Guatemala and Mexico to address the issues driving a record number of migrants to seek asylum at the U.S. – Mexico border. It’s her first international trip as vice president. Republican governors are moving to end a $300-a-week pandemic lifeline for the unemployed in a controversial effort to push people back to work, with four states set to end them this week. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos announced Monday that he and his brother Mark will be aboard for Blue Origin’s first human space flight next month. Harlan was on the Court in 1896 when it endorsed racial segregation in Plessy v. Ferguson and was the lone justice who voted no. He wrote the only dissenting opinion. (For the record, it's Jupiter's moon, Ganymede). Actor Clarence Williams III died Friday in Los Angeles at age 81. Williams is best known to playing the cool undercover cop Linc Hayes on the counterculture TV series The Mod Squad and Prince's father in Purple Rain.  A horse named Essential Quality won the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, a first Triple Crown win for trainer Brad Cox.
