Twins set July 5 for full capacity return to Target Field
Team executives on Thursday announced their plan to return to full capacity as state COVID-19 restrictions recede. They'll be taking a couple steps to reach that goal, after beginning the season with a pandemic cap of 10,000 fans in the stadium that holds nearly 40,000 people.
 
Catch, click, release: Fishing tournaments going virtual
When Otter Tail County opens Minnesota's fishing season by hosting the 73rd annual Minnesota Governor's Fishing Opener this weekend, some aspects will look a lot like past years. But anglers won't have to make the drive to Otter Tail County to join this year's festivities. They won't even have to own a boat. All they need is a fishing rod and a smart phone.

This week's Ask a Bookseller pick is a historical novel set during World War II in Nazi-occupied Norway. The novel is "White Shadow" by Roy Jacobsen, translated from Norwegian by Don Bartlett and Don Shaw and recommended by Lesley Rains of City of Asylum Bookstore in Pittsburgh.

 
Minnesota geologists identify rare meteorite impact site in Dakota County
Share this story with your favorite science enthusiast! An area around Inver Grove Heights, Minn., is the site of an ancient meteorite crash, according to recent analysis by the Minnesota Geological Survey.
