Have you ever heard of a FLOATING wind farm? There is a lot of wind blowing out in the ocean and scientists are creating innovative solutions to harness that renewable energy.

On Thursday, June 1 at 1PM ET, join NOVA Education as Dr. Habib Dagher, founding Executive Director of the University of Maine's Advanced Structures and Composites Lab, gives us a tour of their state-of-the-art Alfond Wind and Wave Basin, where they simulate turbulent ocean conditions on scale model wind turbines to see if their floating wind turbines are tough enough for ocean storms.
