Bello Mohammed, a former player of the Nigerian youth national team, the Flying Eagles, during the late 1990s, has found himself working as a security guard in Abuja.
In the world of football, not all dreams of a successful career come true, and Bello Mohammed's story is a prime example of this. Despite having played for prominent Nigerian clubs such as El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, Yobe Desert Stars, and Zamfara United, the former Nigerian international now spends his days as a security guard in the capital city.
During his time on the field, Mohammed, known by the nickname 'Bello Sudan,' shared the dressing room with notable players like Dele Ayenugba, the late Justice Christopher, and Austin Ejide, among others, as part of the 1999-2000 set of the Flying Eagles. While his teammates went on to earn lucrative contracts and represented both top European clubs and the senior Nigerian national team, Mohammed's childhood dream of becoming a football superstar never materialized.
Regrettably, Mohammed, who once proudly wore the green and white colors of Nigeria, now works as a watchman at a facility in Abuja, the nation's capital, per pulsesportsng.
