Bob Boilen and Bobby Carter will be kicking off the series, each sharing a handful of their top picks.  Every year Bob and Bobby uncover some amazing Contest entries in this series. Back in 2020, their Top Shelf features included Linda Diaz, who went on to be that year’s winner. In 2021 and 2022, they shared entries from Selina Moon, who made it to NPR’s headquarters to play her own Tiny Desk concert just last month. Top Shelf is a place where you can tune in to keep up with the entries that have the judges excited, as they discover them.
