We are about to release our 100th “episode” of our news translation service. We started out by delivering news from our own news desks in French, Spanish, Somali, and Portuguese in video form. The scope of the project has now expanded to releasing translated newsletters in these same languages in addition to Khmer and Arabic. We also release an English video news pod created by Maine Public’s Ari Snyder each week. This English pod has served as a great ESL opportunity for all the newsletter subscribers. Today, we share out all of this content to over 300 community partners, on our website, YouTube, and WhatsApp, and over public access channels in Maine and New Hampshire.
