I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing I hate more than sending my electronics away to be fixed. It’s my absolute worst nightmare. You mean I have to be without my phone for days or maybe weeks so that you can figure out what’s wrong with it? No thank you. Do these companies not realize how much of my life is on my device? I can’t be without it for one minute, let alone days. Shouldn’t they be able to fix everything immediately?
It turns out that Samsung is working on this exact problem. CNET’s Lisa Eadicicco got a firsthand look at the US warehouse where Samsung repairs its devices. While it seems like a pretty smooth operation right now, Samsung’s hoping to make the whole process even faster in the future. That’s because the company is looking to make their products easier to repair, which could help to increase turnaround speeds. Of course, you probably still won’t be able to fix stuff yourself – unless you’re really good at tinkering with expensive electronics.
I’m honestly fine with leaving my repairs to the pros – as long as I can get my stuff back ASAP. My phone needs to be in one place and one place only: the palm of my hand.
