Diaby played 3 years for the University of Louisville, after starting his college career with Georgia Military College. During his time at UofL, Diaby recorded 94 Tackles, 19.5 Tackles for Loss, 10.5 Sacks, and 2 Fumble Recoveries. He took a major step forward in 2022, in terms of production, recording 37 Tackles, 14 Tackles for Loss, and 9 Sacks during his final season alone. This season, combined with his impressive combine showing (4.51 40 time, 1.56 10 yd split time, 37 inch vertical, and 10 ft broad jump) allowed Diaby to climb draft boards in the months leading up to the draft.
