He is accused of falsifying business records and conspiracy in a case focusing on his alleged role in hush money payments to two women during the 2016 presidential campaign. After returning to Mar-a-Lago, Trump spoke to his supporters, saying his only crime was "defending our nation from those who seek to destroy it." Here's what you need to know.
