Kelechi Iheanacho, a forward for the Super Eagles, scored a goal for Leicester during their match against Blackburn Rovers in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Unfortunately, Leicester lost the game 2-1 at home. The result was a shock as Blackburn, a team from the Championship, managed to defeat a Premier League side.
Blackburn took the lead with goals from Tyrhys Dolan and Sammie Szmodics, and although Iheanacho managed to score one back, Blackburn had a third goal disallowed for being offside.
A bad pass from Amartey was intercepted by Blackburn's Dolan who sprinted with the ball before curling it into the net for 1-0.
In the 52nd minute, Szmodics wriggled his way past three Leicester defenders before shooting into the net to double Blackburn's lead.
Iheanacho, who came on for Dennis Praet in the 58th minute, scored on 67 minutes to make it 2-1. The Nigerian received a pass from Barnes in the box and slotted it home nicely.
Despite Leicester's efforts to score an equalizer, they were unable to find the back of the net, and the game turned into one-way traffic for the majority of the second half.
