It's your best chance of seeing a bright green comet. Here's what we're following today: 🥇 First up Elijah Nouvelage/AFP via Getty Images Black History Month begins today, and this year the theme is "Black Resistance." Brush up on your knowledge of the history of the celebration, which started out in 1926 as Negro History Week and expanded to Black History Month in the 1970s. Tyre Nichols will be laid to rest today in Memphis, three weeks after he died following a beating by police. The Rev. Al Sharpton will deliver the eulogy, and Vice President Harris is set to attend at the invitation of Nichols' family. House Republicans are launching their first hearings investigating the Biden administration Democrats today. The Judiciary Committee's first meeting will cover what Republicans have dubbed the Biden Border Crisis, while the Oversight panel is looking into money spent on pandemic relief when Democrats controlled the house. The pandemic changed the way we look at personal finance. Author Jill Schlesinger says what we called the Great Resignation was actually a "Great Reshuffle," as people left well-paying but demanding jobs for less lucrative jobs with better work-life balance.
