Clean cars plan moves ahead; a blackout plate future?

Check out the latest on Updraft.  Minnesota appeals court upholds 'clean cars' plan after dealership pushback Minnesota's proposed clean cars plan (modeled after California) which would increase the sale of electric vehicles and reduce the emissions from non-EVs in the state. Read here Blackout plates, popular in other states, may be headed for Minnesota More vehicle-related news: Gov. Walz is recommending authorization of plates with a dark or black background and white lettering. Why? Simplicity. Read here ⤻ Amazon will shut down Shakopee, Minn. center, uprooting 680 workers Effective March 31, it'll be a permanent closure because of the site's age. A company spokesperson said the workers affected will be offered nearby Amazon opportunities. 🚓 A 6th police officer relieved of duty in Tyre Nichols death investigation Officer Preston Hemphill has been "relieved of duty" at the same time as five other officers. He has not been charged related to the beating and subsequent death of Nichols. 🚌 How cold before school is canceled in Minnesota? It depends on the district Brr! We don't need to reiterate how cold it is out there.
