Here's what we're following today: 🥇 First up Joseph Prezioso/AFP via Getty Images Memphis police have faced much criticism after the death of Tyre Nichols — particularly for how they told the story of his confrontation with the police. Authorities initially said he was taken into custody after two "confrontations" with police. Video footage released later shows Nichols being fatally beaten by officers. ➡️ Nichols' death has renewed calls on Capitol Hill for police reform. But in a divided Congress, bipartisan reform legislation is unlikely.   Most doctors get little education in the science of obesity or how to counsel people with the disease.
