It happens so frequently that I am convinced this man has super powers. The superpowers of the Flash. It is the only logical explanation that I can think of. Have we ever seen McDavid and Barry Allen in the same room? The answer is no we haven't because they are the same damn person. He makes NHL defenseman look like high schoolers. He's the best player in the world and it's not even close. It's a real shame Edmonton can't get him enough pieces to win a cup but who knows he might be good enough to do it himself.
