It’s officially December and 2022 is almost in the books. The year might be ending, but companies are still releasing new tech to entice holiday shoppers. Amazon officially dropped the Kindle Scribe this week, its first-ever E Ink tablet. This 10.2-inch device functions like a giant e-reader, but also comes with a pen for taking handwritten notes in digital notebooks, PDFs and even in Kindle books. The Scribe and other E Ink tablets might be great gifts for students or anyone else who's interested in distraction-free writing and reading. So should you add the Scribe to your list? CNET’s David Carnoy shares his review after taking it on his trip to Qatar for the World Cup. I also helped test the device, but sadly, that did not include a trip to FIFA's biggest event. And while the Scribe isn’t waterproof, David assured me that it survived the heat of the tournament and the desert quite well. We’ve got this, plus reviews of Xfinity home internet and four ultra-cheap projectors, below.
