Now this is winter! Winter camping, saunas and lion cubs. There is a lot to warm your soul this week in Minnesota. We got you covered this weekend. 

It will be a colder weekend with some snow, heavier up north on Friday and a bit windy Saturday. Warmest day of the weekend is expected to be Sunday.

"Spiked!" brings music, comedy and holiday cheer to the Granada Theater in Minneapolis over the next two weeks. Four female photographers stretch and innovate the form in "Surface Tension" at Olson Gallery at Bethel University.
 
4 lion cubs saved from war in Ukraine arrive at Minnesota sanctuary
Four lion cubs that were orphaned during the war in Ukraine have arrived safely at a Minnesota animal sanctuary that has pledged to provide them a permanent home.

 
U.S. Soccer star Christian Pulisic mending, hopes to play in Saturday's match
Pulisic suffered a pelvic injury when scoring the winning goal in the U.S. squad's game against Iran on Tuesday. The victory moved the U.S. team onto a knockout match against the Netherlands.

Help families in need by donating new winter gear that can last them through winter.
All children's sizes of clothing items are needed.

Donations can be dropped off at the Legacy Building in Minneapolis, Monday through Friday from noon until 7 p.m. (Carbon Sound)
