Happy October.

There are lots of events centered on Minnesotans of color going on across Minnesota this weekend! Diwali and the monthly Black Market just two fun events on our list.

2022 Diwali Celebration
The Hindu Society of Minnesota will be hosting its annual Diwali celebration in Minneapolis on Oct. 9. It will be a grand celebration of culture, music, arts, food and goods.
The Black Market
The Black Market is a marketplace where people may sell and purchase goods, learn about services, connect with community, enjoy live entertainment and taste a multitude of foods from around the cities. Check it out Oct. 8 from 2 p.m. to 7p.m. in Minneapolis.
Art Hounds: St. Paul gallery presents art from three Native artists
The American Craft Made marketplace opens at St. Paul's RiverCentre. The Art Hounds also suggest you check out a celebration of Indigenous art at Metro State University's Gordon Parks Gallery and two exhibits at Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis.
