LINDSEY GRAHAM'S ABORTION BILL SHOULD GET EVERYONE'S ATTENTION Republicans in the Senate want to distract voters from a new bill introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) that would establish a nationwide abortion ban at 15 weeks. The ban would supersede existing state laws that allow more access to abortion, but ― critically ― not those that allow less. [HuffPost] BIDEN SAYS TENTATIVE RAILWAY LABOR AGREEMENT REACHED President Joe Biden said early today that a tentative railway labor agreement has been reached, averting a potentially devastating strike before the pivotal midterm elections. He said the deal "will keep our critical rail system working and avoid disruption of our economy." Biden has been urging the carriers and the unions to reach a compromise, and Labor Secretary Marty Walsh held meetings with both sides.
