It takes two to create a conflict; it takes one to facilitate peace.
School time is crucial; this is where we build and start what should be a given routine. Unfortunately, although many expect kindness to be natural, respect to be a must, and humanity to be part of our daily life, we get shocked at the back-to-school time with some children here to mark their territories.
What happened during the summer? Where are all the ethics, skills, and good manners we worked on and helped children develop and understand? Where are the empathy, love, and humility we discussed and praised in action the year before? Sadly, many dropped their wings in the summer and thought that traits, characters, and rights were seasonal.
Back to ground zero, instructors! Bullying is back, and as an eight-year-old child told me yesterday, THEY ARE MEAN, & I DON'T KNOW WHY!
Dear parents, fellows in education, and in parenthood, children learn by example; we do not take breaks from being kind, humane, loving, or understanding.
As I said in the beginning, It takes two to create a conflict; it takes one to facilitate peace.
#MOI, I am the author of MOMMY I AM A PACER, and I remind you, we must start yesterday...
it's a life, not a book; it's a child, not a character; it's a reality & not a story!
Grab a copy for your child, understand what children go through, & help them express their daily struggles by co-illustrating with the author"
