Yesterday, Liberty Counsel announced that health care workers in Illinois who were discriminated against and denied religious exemptions from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine will receive a "historic" $10.3 million settlement. The 500 health care workers filed a class action suit against the Illinois NorthShore University Health System. "This settlement should also serve as a strong warning to employers across the nation that they cannot refuse to accommodate those with sincere religious objections to forced vaccination mandates," said the chief litigation counsel.
