Sunshine, water, fireworks and your pets: Staying safe on the Fourth The mix of hot sun, alcohol and readily available explosives also make this one of the most dangerous holidays of the year. Here's what to keep in mind to make sure it's a safe as well as fun weekend. She also shared her recipe for seafood skewers! Art Hounds: Art that asks 'What does it mean to be ladylike?' The interdisciplinary arts show "La.dy.like" investigates what it means to be femme. Artists muse on the act of walking at an international exhibit tucked in and around the Rochester Art Center. "There's a Crack in Everything" offers an evening of storytelling and song at Bryant Lake Bowl Theatre in Minneapolis. At a sneak peek, curators and MIA leadership discussed the long-awaited and culturally significant exhibits.  Ask a Bookseller: A summer thriller debut by a Twin Cities author Jennifer Jubenville of the Bookstore at Fitger's in Duluth says there's nothing like a good thriller for a summer read, and she recommends checking out Joshua Moehling's debut, "And There He Kept Her."
