We have for you a multitude of fun ways to unplug for a while and discover some cool new art, music and food. Live it up! Art-A-Whril Weekend The annual, gigantic open gallery event is back in northeast Minneapolis! Over 1,000 member artists, galleries and businesses participate at over 60 locations. You'll find local art, meet with artists and other art lovers, and enjoy live music and great food and brews. Find a full list of events on their website. Art Hounds: Photographer's art reflects on parenthood and the pandemic Form + Content Gallery in Minneapolis celebrates 15 years with its "Thoughtful Dialogue" exhibit. Photographer Andy Richter's exhibit "Walking with Julien" is on view both at Artspace Jackson Flats in Minneapolis and on storefronts in Northeast Minneapolis where the photographs were taken. And Duluth Dylan Fest caps the city's "Year of Dylan" with a week-long festival of music. Photos: Spring wildflowers in southern Minnesota state parks April's cool, wet weather delayed the show — but spring wildflowers are now in full bloom across southern Minnesota. Animals of Minnesota's Driftless Area are the stars of Winona art exhibit Matt Wagner wanted to read his young son a book featuring animals found near their home in southeast Minnesota. He couldn't find one — so he set out to create his own. That's the inspiration for "Animals of the Driftless," an exhibit of black-and-white prints created by Wagner, on display at the Winona Arts Center through the end of June.
