The 18-year-old gunman was shot and killed by a Border Patrol agent who responded to a request for backup.  ➡️ Survivors of the Parkland and Columbine school shootings have expressed outrage and grief over the news of the shooting in Uvalde. Parkland survivor David Hogg spoke to NPR about the tragedy of how familiar it all is. Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Arkansas held primaries yesterday, with the power of Donald Trump's endorsements being tested once again.  🏆 Trump-endorsed incumbent Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton won the Republican primary. Herschel Walker also won his primary for Georgia senate. Sarah Huckabee Sanders cruised to an easy victory in the GOP primary for Arkansas governor. ❌ However, Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp beat Trump's pick for governor in the Georgia GOP primary, and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger also won over Trump-backed Jody Hice.
