It's going to be partly cloudy today, maybe a little rain, with a high in the low 90s. Today kicks off a special session of the Florida Legislature for lawmakers to address skyrocketing property insurance. Meanwhile, many local children are coming down with the flu, even as the season winds down nationwide. And the Bolts waylaid the Florida Panthers on Sunday in Tampa; Game 4 is tonight. The Tampa Bay Times also has begun its annual fundraising campaign. The Times is increasingly unique for having local owners covering local issues, even as community journalism is in crisis across the country. Please, take a moment to consider helping further our mission by donating today. We thank you for your continued support. | | | [AYA DIAB | Times] | | This house looks like it’s straight out of ‘Friends’ | | In Ybor City, an Airbnb superhost has turned one of his listings into a nostalgic wonderland for fans of the ’90s sitcom “Friends.” Frank Albert’s 1920s bungalow hit the home rental website in April, featuring decor and other furnishings that recreate scenes from Monica’s apartment, Joey and Chandler’s place and the Central Perk coffee shop. There are purple walls and a yellow photo frame on the door. Even a piece of Central Perk, thanks to an orange couch in the living room. Take a look around. | | | | | |
