The MoJo Daily newsletter, Monday through Friday.
It's no easy task for George W. Bush to top his record of gaffes and self-induced public humiliation. But on Wednesday, the former president emerged onstage in Dallas to give us, what I believe, might be the Freudian slip of the century. There's not much more to say than what I've already summed up there. But I just wanted to add an extra note of gratitude here, as it's not every day that we have a chance to recall all the lies and cons that gave us this modern era of political BS. Mother Jones was there from the start and you can count on us to keep the fight going. —Inae Oh |
