Don't let the name fool you — this deal is not just for kids. While the kid-friendly Kindle is great for young readers, it's also an excellent e-reader for any adult. The Kindle Paperwhite Kids pairs the 8GB, ad-free version of the fantastic Kindle Paperwhite from 2021 (complete with its larger, 6.8-inch display and adjustable color temperature) with a case, a two-year warranty, and a year of Amazon Kids Plus. Normally, that package costs $159.99, but it's on sale today for $109.99 at Amazon and Best Buy.
You can take your pick of cute covers, or you can just as easily choose the black cover and completely ignore all the kid-friendly add-ons. Google's Nest Hub Max is currently on sale at Best Buy and B&H Photo for $169.99, a discount of about $59 and an all-time low. The Nest Hub Max offers a lot for that price, including a 10-inch display, extensive smart home controls, and a robust speaker that can easily fill a room. The smart display also has a built-in camera you can use it for video calls, unlike its smaller sibling, the regular Nest Hub.
Additionally, the Nest Hub Max offers some of the best features of any Google smart display, with support for Google Assistant and excellent integration with Google Photos. If you plant this display somewhere in your house or the home of a loved one, you can automatically send cloud photos to it from a shared Google Photos album. Amazon-owned Eero is a popular option for home mesh Wi-Fi systems, which allow you to blanket your home with a more reliable signal than a lone router will allow for. And right now, you can save 30 percent on a couple different combinations to fit your space. The Eero 6 router with two extenders is currently $195 ($84 off) at Amazon, while the same Eero 6 router with just one extender is $139 ($60 off).
Generally speaking, if you have an average-size house, the cheaper deal should adequately cover all corners of your home. The three-pack with one router and two extenders should cover up to 5,000 square feet, but if you have a tricky floor plan that leads to Wi-Fi dead zones, it may not hurt to opt for the extra extender. Apple's third-gen AirPods, its latest pair of true wireless earbuds, are currently available at Woot for $144.99 ($34 off). This deal is just $10 shy of their best-ever price, and is accessible to everyone as opposed to some recent Woot deals that were exclusive to Amazon Prime members.
The third-gen AirPods resemble the AirPods Pro, but they lack the active noise cancellation found on the latter model. Their hard-plastic design is meant to fit most people's ears, and the included case permits wireless charging via various Qi-enable chargers as well as Apple's MagSafe technology. While you can still pick up the older, second-gen AirPods for less, the newer model offers improved sound quality and some nice quality-of-life improvements.
