That's a little more than 2% of the population. More than half have settled in Poland, with Hungary, Moldova and Slovakia as other top destinations. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed that 498 Russian troops have died and 1,597 more have been injured in Ukraine. The announcement comes ahead of another planned round of negotiations near the Belarus-Poland border. ➡️ Everyday Russians are feeling the isolation after the U.S. and Europe imposed swift sanctions.
