Learn about classroom-ready resources for Earth and Space science from NOVA Polar Extremes, and from the recent series NOVA Universe Revealed. The resources—produced by GBH Education and available FREE on PBS LearningMedia—are standards-aligned, contextualized for the classroom, and contain support materials. We will also cover NOVA's Exoplanet Lab, which uses a game to illustrate the techniques scientists use to find and characterize exoplanets.
You'll leave the webinar with engaging resources you can use right away and tips on how to use them. We'll end with a sneak peek of NOVA resources soon to-be-published, and an open Q&A with all of the presenters.
GUEST PRESENTERS The webinar will be hosted by staff from GBH Education and NOVA Education, and these guest presenters: Astrophysicist, Dr. Anjali Tripathi Astrophysicist will discuss the rapidly evolving field of exoplanets and provide an overview of planet discoveries made in recent years.
