Capitol police have since ramped up intelligence gathering, major event security and communications, but there's still much work to do to prevent another attack. The CDC is standing by its decision that a negative test result is not needed for those who have COVID-19 if their symptoms improved and they're fever-free at the end of five days of isolation. The agency cited the challenges of isolation and quarantine and stressed the importance of wearing masks.  Virginia officials are defending their response to the snow-fueled calamity on the I-95 that left motorists stranded for nearly 24 hours. "We all need to be clear that this was an incredibly unusual event," Gov. Ralph Northam said of the heavy snowfall. Airbnb is experimenting with a new feature that the company hopes will prevent racial discrimination against users.
