Whether you're trying to lose weight, train for a marathon, or improve your sleep cycle, the right tool can help you keep better tabs on your progress and ultimately develop better habits.
Unfortunately, smartwatches and dedicated fitness trackers can be pricey, which can be discouraging if you're also resolved to cut expenses and save more of your paycheck this year. Thankfully, there are currently some great deals happening on some of the best fitness trackers you can buy, so you don't necessarily have to sacrifice one goal for the other. Whether you're an Apple aficionado or a Fitbit fan, we've curated the top fitness tracker deals currently available.
If you're an Apple fan, Amazon is selling Apple's latest smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 7, starting at $369 when you buy the 41mm, GPS-equipped model in green, blue, or red with its matching Sport Band. The excellent wearable offers a larger, edge-to-edge display than its last-gen counterpart — along with IP6X dust resistance — and tracks the statistics you'd expect, like heart rate, blood oxygen, and EKG. Read our review.
If you're on the market for a more affordable Apple Watch, the Apple Watch SE is also on sale. It shares some features found on the Series 7, like a built-in accelerometer, yet it lacks an always-on display and the ability to measure your blood oxygen levels. The wearable typically starts at $279 but Amazon has lowered the price of the 40mm, GPS-equipped Watch SE with the space gray aluminum case and midnight Sport Band to $239. If you have a larger wrist, Amazon is also selling the 44mm variant with the silver aluminum case and blue Sport Band for $279 ($30 off). Read our review. $369 $399 8% off Prices taken at time of publishing. The smaller, 41mm Apple Watch Series 7 comes in a range of colors with either GPS or GPS and LTE. $239 $279 14% off Prices taken at time of publishing. Apple's midrange wearable, the Apple Watch SE, serves as a step up from the Series 3, with features and a design similar to the Series 6 and 7. If you're deeply embedded in the Samsung ecosystem, Samsung's $249.99 Galaxy Watch 4 is also on sale for $209.99 (40mm, GPS) at Best Buy. The larger sizes are on sale, too, with the 44mm, GPS-equipped model selling for $239.99 instead of $279.99 at Best Buy. The capable smartwatch offers a range of sensors that allow it to support 95 different kinds of workout tracking, along with handy new features like body composition analysis. The wearable also touts a responsive interface, runs on Google's new Wear OS 3 platform, and offers improved third-party app support. Read our review. $209.99 $249 16% off Prices taken at time of publishing. The Galaxy Watch 4 features a snappy interface and more third-party support by way of Google's Wear OS 3. But keep in mind that it's paired best with a Samsung-made phone.
Several of Fitbit's wearables are currently on sale, including its newest tracker. Right now, the $179.99 Fitbit Charge 5 is selling for $149.95 at Amazon and Best Buy, which is its second lowest price yet. While the latest Fitbit offers a lightweight design and excellent battery life, it doesn't have a particularly large touchscreen and its UI can be confusing, as we noted in our review.
If you're shopping for something a little more stylish, the $149.95 Fitbit Luxe is also selling for $129.95 at Best Buy and Amazon, which is about $30 shy of its best price ever. The slim fitness tracker looks more akin to a piece of fashion-focused jewelry than other models, but it still offers a colorful OLED touchscreen and can track an array of statistics, including your heart rate, sleep, exercise, and more. $149.95 $179.99 17% off Prices taken at time of publishing. The Fitbit Charge 5 is Fitbit's latest fitness tracker, and it offers access to new tools like an EDA Scan app to manage stress as well as a six-month membership to Fitbit Premium. $129.95 $149.95 13% off Prices taken at time of publishing. The Fitbit Luxe may look like a like jewelry, but it boasts a colorful OLED touchscreen and tracks a variety of statistics, including your heart rate, sleep, exercise, and more.
Like the recently announced Garmin Venu 2 Plus, the Venu 2 is a great pick that was designed, in some ways, to be more of a sports watch than a smartwatch. It's waterproof up to five atmospheres, meaning it's more than suitable for shallow-water activities, and features a battery that can last more than 10 days. It also boasts all the sensors you could want, ranging from a barometric altimeter for elevation and a compass for positioning to a thermometer.
Although it is still a good smartwatch, some of these features come at the expense of more traditional facets, like a mic or speaker, which might allow you to issue voice commands and make voice calls. If smartwatch features like those don't matter to you and highly accurate fitness tracking does, however, the Venu 2 is a solid pick you can buy right now for $349.99 ($50 off) at Amazon. Read our review. $349.99 $399.99 13% off Prices taken at time of publishing. Garmin's Venu 2 is waterproof up to five atmospheres, offers a battery life of over 10 days, and boasts an array of sensors. However, it lacks mic or a speaker. Other great fitness tracker deals
