'Tis the season for giving!

Hi Friend, It’s that special week between Christmas and New Year where schools are closed but schedules are busier than ever, and hopefully, you find a moment to enjoy the snow and a little bit of family time. Everything at Minnesota Public Radio is powered by Members. And in the spirit of giving – know that an investment in MPR is an investment in your community. When you give before midnight on Friday, you will not only help us reach our year-end goal, but you can also send a pair of locally made mittens to a Minnesotan experiencing homelessness. We’ve partnered with Minnesota Mittens and the Ain Dah Yung Center to make your gift go further this year. Minnesota Mittens employs people with disabilities to knit high quality mittens to keep you warm all winter long. When you donate $14 per month to MPR, we will send a pair of these mittens to the Ain Dah Yung Center in Saint Paul where they will be distributed to American Indian youth who are experiencing homelessness. When you donate $28 per month, a pair of mittens will be donated, and we’ll send you a pair for yourself or a loved one! It is wins all around when you support MPR this season.
