There are apps, Siri, headphones, services like iCloud and, of course, Ted Lasso. For the past two decades, with the launch of iTunes in 2001, Apple has been an integral part of the music industry.

Apple Music, the company’s streaming music service, competes with the likes of Spotify, Tidal and Amazon Music. How big a deal is music to Apple? Well, today Apple announced the winners of its third annual Apple Music Awards. Yes, Apple gives out awards to musicians and artists both for their music and their influence.

The top awards went to The Weeknd, Olivia Rodrigo and H.E.R., among others. Check out the full list of winners, which includes regional awards for artists in Africa, France, Germany, Japan and Russia.
