Charlotte-based Proffitt Dixon Partners is the developer of the new complex, which will include a 45,000-square-foot, ground-floor retail space.  Charleston school could become nation's 1st free law school Ed Bell, president of Charleston School of Law, revealed that he's working toward making the institution the first free law school in the U.S. The feat would require a large investment, and he believes one is almost secured..  1 S.C. county sees triple-digit initial unemployment claims Initial S.C. unemployment claims fell by 464 for the week ending Sept. 25 from the previous week, with Greenville County the only county to still see triple-digit claims at 136.
