⭐⭐⭐⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a fun romantic comedy set to the tune of You've Got Mail and it follows a champagne store owner as she struggles with a secret relationship, a rivalry with her buildings owner, and following her own dreams.

Gracie is a whimsical girl in her thirties who decides to take a swing at online dating and signs up for a site where you never see the persons face while you are talking to them. She calls him "Sir" and he calls her "Lady" and their entire relationship is built on flirty banter and helpful advice. Gracie's thoughts revolve around Sir until she meets Sebastian Andrews. Sebastian is a business man with a heart of gold and secrets of his own that continue to drag Gracie in even as they fight over her families business.

I really loved my experience with this book! It was a super light and fast enemies-to-lovers read that reminded me of all the reasons I love romantic comedies. And it helps that this is literally a rewrite of my favorite movie. This was super cheesy and filled with clichés but I loved seeing their relationship develop! It felt very organic and although the love interest wasn't as receptive as I like my romantic partners to be, I still liked how this story wrapped up.

When it comes to Gracie and her dreams, I love her dedication to her family. It's such a selfless thing to be 100% in with your family and all their needs and you really feel for this character when she describes giving up art school and so much more to save the family business. This whole plot line with her whole extended family just made this a really impactful read.

My problems with this book mainly lie with the side characters. I felt they added nothing to the story and while Gracie's family does play a huge part in the story, they weren't very memorable or interesting.

Regardless, this was a light, breezy, summer read about finding love and chasing your dreams. Definitely recommend if you want a clean romance novel for the summer!!
