Capital City/Lake Murray Country's regional tourism board promotes tourism in Richland, Lexington, Saluda and Newberry counties. Initial S.C. unemployment claims top 2,000 in week In the final days of federal unemployment program benefits, the state saw 2,173 initial unemployment claims filed for the week ending July 3. Greenville County saw 152 claims, while Richland County had 118. USDA invests $9.6M in S.C. water, wastewater infrastructure Calhoun Falls and Marion County's MARCO Rural Water Co. Inc. will receive $9.6 million in loans and grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as part of a $307 million investment in water and wastewater infrastructure.
