A former lynchpin in the fabric of the Upstate textile industry, Alice Manufacturing closed the doors of its 50-year-old Ellison plant in 2018. The firm now has a new name and mission.

Three S.C. companies make next round of Walmart pitch event

It may not have as many viewers as Shark Tank, but once Walmart wraps up its Open Call pitch event, winners among the 900 small business competitors will have their products distributed across the company's network. Two in the next round hail from the Upstate.
