Ford Foundation donates to Mother Emanuel Memorial

The Ford Foundation has donated $500,000 to the Emanuel Nine Memorial. Darren Walker, president of the Ford Foundation, said he is proud to support the memorial and pay tribute to the church members and Charleston community.

Fuel shortage fears prompt emergency declaration

After a ransomware attack on Colonial Pipeline Co. halted all operations at the Georgia-based pipeline, South Carolina and 16 other states were placed under a "regional emergency declaration" calling for an immediate transport of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel to mitigate an impending shortage.
