One by one, Texas Democrats walked out of the state's House of Representatives Sunday night in a dramatic bid to stop the passage of a voting restrictions bill. The move left Republicans with no choice but to end the session before a midnight deadline. The legislation would ban drive-through and 24-hour early voting, tighten voter ID laws and limit absentee ballots among other restrictions.
