The White House has declared a state of emergency after a cyber attack forced the shutdown of a vital U.S. pipeline. Experts said that gasoline prices are unlikely to be affected if the pipeline is back to normal in the next few days. But the incident — the worst cyberattack to date on critical U.S. infrastructure — should serve as a wakeup call to companies about the vulnerabilities they face, says The Associated Press.  A series of explosions at a school in Kabul, Afghanistan, left more than 50 students dead, most of them young girls. No group has claimed responsibility for Saturday's attack. There were at least nine mass shootings across the U.S. this weekend, including one at a family birthday party in Colorado Springs that left six people dead. (CNN) A cloud remains over Medina Spirit, the horse that won the Kentucky Derby earlier this month, and its trainer. Bob Baffert denied any wrongdoing and repeatedly said that the horse never had been treated with betamethasone, the steroid for which it tested positive.
