Minnesota officials today announced incentives for those 16 and older who decide to get a COVID-19 shot between this coming weekend and the end of June. The incentives include:
- A Great Lakes Aquarium pass
- A Mall of America Nickelodeon Universe -pass
- Minnesota fishing license
- Minnesota State Parks pass
- Minnesota Zoo admission
- Northwoods League Baseball tickets
- State Fair tickets
- Valleyfair single-day admission
- A visa card for $25
The incentives will go to the first 100,000 eligible people who get vaccinated. This effort is happening elsewhere around the country — so Minnesota is following the lead of other states who offered prizes like scholarships and sports tickets. In COVID-19 data news, the state reported 505 new cases today and 10 deaths. Positivity rate is at a record low of 2.5 percent.
