A suspected human smuggling operation turned deadly when a boat capsized yesterday off the coast of San Diego. Officials say at least three people died and 27 others were rushed to local hospitals with various injuries. A US Border Patrol agent said the overcrowded boat was likely a "smuggling vessel" and the boat's captain has been detained. Here's what you need to know.
